The short version: CHERP Solo is a fully offline app. Everything you enter — calculations, saved items, notes, tasks, and any photos you take in the app — stays on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your data, we do not collect it, and we do not sell or share it. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no tracking.
What CHERP Solo stores, and where
CHERP Solo keeps your content in your device's local app storage only:
Your calculator inputs and saved results.
Your tasks, notes, and job-log entries.
Any photos you capture or add through the in-app Camera / Gallery, stored on your device.
Your chosen trade, theme, and app preferences.
This data never leaves your phone. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, permanently deletes it.
What we collect
Nothing. CHERP Solo has no user accounts and makes no network calls to us. We receive no personal information, no usage analytics, and no crash telemetry. We have no servers that can see your data.
Permissions
Notifications — used only to show reminders you schedule inside the app, on your device.
Camera / Photos — the in-app Camera and Gallery use your device's standard photo picker so you can attach a photo to a job. Photos are stored locally and never uploaded.
CHERP Solo requests no microphone, contacts, or location access.
Your data, in your hands
You can export everything as a JSON file at any time from within the app, and move it wherever you like. Because your data is local, you are always in control of it.
Children's privacy
CHERP Solo is a general-audience productivity tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since it collects no data at all, it poses no data-collection risk to users of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
